Museum Volunteer Opportunities

MUSEUM

The Verde Historical Society always needs volunteers and is grateful for any assistance you may be able to offer.   Some of the opportunities include greeters at the front desk and help in the gift shop for 2-hour shifts during Museum hours.  Even a 2-hour shift once a month helps.  Volunteers are also needed for archiving and miscellaneous office work on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings between 9 – noon (includes a coffee/tea break with cookies!)  And, help is always needed for special events.

If you have time and energy to share, please contact Helen Killebrew at (928) 634-2868.

RAILROAD ROOM
The railroad team is always on the lookout for volunteers to run the trains during Museum hours, as well as help work on the diorama.   If you love trains and the lure of the train whistle, contact Bob Lanning, blanning1@zohomail.com
